Lone Pine Unified School District offers all of our students the opportunity to achieve academic success. We have two great schools. Lo-Inyo Elementary School is designed to serve our students from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Then we have Lone Pine High School, which is a comprehensive high school serving grades nine through twelve.
Lone Pine Unified offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities through our fine athletics and agricultural programs. With respect to our athletics program, it operates at both the Junior High School level as well as the High School side of the house. With regard to the program at Lo-Inyo. grades sixth through eighth compete in volleyball, flag football, and basketball. Lone Pine High school offers football, volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball. For some students, at the high school, athletics can be used to count for physical education credit.
For students at Lone Pine High School, they can participate in our state-of-the-art agricultural program which produces a robust farm component. The farm component aides Students in learning how to properly raise livestock through proper feed and the application of medications as needed. Students are also given the opportunity to learn agricultural mechanics, which includes welding component.
